2003 - SAMA Award for Best Rap Album, Metro FM Music Award for Best Hip Hop, First South African Hip Hop group to sign with a major record label.
2004 - SAMA Award for Best Rap Album, Source Award International Artist of the Year Nomination (USA magazine), Best Kwaito / Hip Hop Group at the Kidz Star Awards, Mkhukhu Funkshen reaches gold status album sales. Chosen for the SAB 9644 campaign that took role models in business and in the arts on a roadshow around the country to inspire aspirant young people.
2005 - Channel O Video Music Awards for Best Hip Hop Video, Nomination Best African Hip Hop at the Kora Awards, Washumkhukhu reaches gold status album sales. Chosen as the only South African act to help MTV Base launch their channel in Ghana.
2006 - The group was also honored by the community of Heidelberg win the Karen Beef Community Award for their role as role models and most recently by the South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA) with a Certificate of Appreciation for their contribution to the fight against drug and alcohol abuse, Inked a joint venture deal with Virgin Urban Records that allows them to have part ownership of their masters and an equal share in the profits of the music.
2007 - Flabba, a member of Skwatta Kamp, wins the Best Rap album at the SAMA 13 Awards, Inked a joint venture deal with a major international clothing wear company to manufacture, market and distribute the group’s clothing, They are currently ambassadors of the two non-profit organizations Childline and Woman+Men Against Child Abuse taking the message to communities across the country using their celebrity.
