PAKEL (born Kelechi Paul Obasi) is a Singing & Rapping Afro Hip-Hop artiste from Nigeria with a lofty dream of taking his music to the four corners of the planet.
When he was encouraged by his parents to join the church choir in Cameroon (where he was born) at a tender age, little did they know that they’ve assisted him in choosing a path he’d grow up to madly fall in love with.
Upon migrating back to Nigeria and while in AZI AMA High School Aba; he was noted for always miming reigning songs to the listening pleasure of his peers, an act that followed him to Lagos in the year 2000 and forming a duo musical group – WEATHER MEN made up of him and P-Boy before they both went their separate ways after two years together of already great musical exploit for their respective hustling.
Despite the not too encouraging business environment, he has gone ahead against all odds to float his personal entertainment outfit- FUCHIMA ENTERTAINMENT with which he has organized a couple of shows to showcasing artistic acts at the same time honing his musical skills to be the best he wants to be and that has paid off with the emergence of his two singles: E FO SI WON LARA featuring SIR P which is presently enjoying rotational airplay on some stations and FOLLOW ME GO featuring SABI & MOST WANTED.
Like his mentors in the industry: Tuface, Lionel Riche, Rick Ross, D.J Khalid among others, he strongly believes in taking his music around the globe.
