Nigerian based singer Nelia is causing ripples locally,she recorded her first single in 2006 just after leaving high school, since then she has won numerous accolades like the award for the Best Female Reggae Artist 2010,Best Female Naija Urban with "Aribelemam (I Love You)"
Over the years she has grown professionally in the industry.
In 2009 it was her single "Keep You" that surprised her contemporaries because of the fusion of RnB in reggae and also the use of
Nigerian patois in the song it attracted attention and won her the award for the Best New Female Reggae Artist 2009.
She has worked with several artistes like Papa Say, Kingsize, Dawix among others and she plans to work with foreign artistes as well.
