Lumi Natty, born in India to an Asian mother and an African father. Brought up a Krishna devotee, a vegetarian with strong beliefs in the laws of karma, reincarnation and nonviolence.Spiritually inclined and appreciates all religions. An animal lover, having pets ranging from dogs and turtles to birds and monkeys. As a child wrote poems .Schooled in Nigeria. Studied law for 2 years at the university but then opted fot English literature.... yet ,did not find satisfaction and in the final year decided to take sometime off and went to India on a soul searching mission.There met with a South American composer under whom she learned the guitar.. This aroused her dormant desire and brought out her hidden talent. She began to write and compose her songs. Her idols being Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela.
