“Born Anyaegbu Chukwuebuka, EBuka is a female vocalist, songer writer, singer and a graduate/Music Major from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anamabra, Nigeria. Ebuka presently holds a job in a private law firm. Music she says is her passion, started as a hobby from her childhood. Her style of music varies slow rock, midtempo tunes, Afro hiphop, fast dancehall and infuses with African flavor.
She was born and raised in Anambra from a middle class family of six. ‘It is cliche, Music means everything to me’, she would say. She loves dancing, singing and listening to music. She has been singing for most of her life, as a kid, member of the church choir and started as a professional singer in 2007 with the release of ‘Forever n Ewo’.
While in the University, she formed a band with friends and they called themselves ‘Purple blues’ but they disbanded on graduation. Her mother is her role model, her mother also sings in church and events. She grew up listening to the likes of Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Onyeka Onwenu and Late Christy Essien Igbokwe.
Ebuka is working on a remix of Flavour’s Oyi [catch cold] with the singer, She intends to leave a musical footprint in the sands of time.
