Artist: Becky Enyioma
Nigerian/Port Harcourt born Becky Enyioma, performer, producer and writer. She is the first child of her family, with four siblings. She was noticed at the age of two, by family and friends, singing along to Bob Marley’s “No woman no cry” and “stir it up."
At the age of nine, she began singing in church. In 1997, she joined the "Geraldo Pino and his extended family band", and recorded her first song with Port Harcourt's music producer Rolly Ajomiwe and reggae artist PopaSay.
Two years later, she became the lead singer of the band and toured round the country, supporting Nigeria's Greatest musicians.
Alongside her music career, she went to drama school, where she trained as a stage-actor at the University of Port Harcourt, and playing lead roles on stage.
In 1998, she played a small role in a Nollywood production, which stared Nollywood actors-Rita Dominic and Francis Duru.
In 2003 she released her album debut titled "Someone to Hold" under her own record label. That same year, she owned and managed a band and performed every Friday at "Bougainvilla", where fans had the opportunity to see her live.
The following year, she stared alongside Sam Dede and Ireti Doyle, in a Nollywood film production, directed by Opa Williams.
In 2005 she released her second album "Don't loose it" under West Side Music Inc. She relocated to the United Kingdom in 2006.
2010 Saw the publication of her book titled ''Breeding Success and Life's Issues.''
Her album-FEAR NO MORE-is soon to be released. Produced in the United Kingdom, and Nigeria.
