Artist: Naava
Naava was born into a royal family with her mother being Princess Miriam Ndagire Taleyabwera. She participated in the 2008 Project Fame and once among the finalists.
She was discovered by the boss of Fenon Records when she was doing back-up vocals for GNL Zamba during a concert in 2009. She later signed with the record. She hates make up, even though she decides to let go when going on stage or photo opportunities.
Naava loves novels but is mercilessly addicted to those written by Daniel Steele who is known for her sadist nature of novels. Her favorite novel by the novelist is Mixed Blessings. For a musician, she hates routine schedules which makes her do things on a whim. This is the only reason as to why she takes long to release her music.
For a stage name, she had opted for Asher but when someone else scooped it up, she decided to go with Naava, a name given to daughters of princesses in Buganda. Asher means hope. She describes her appetite as extensive, she eats anything at anytime.
